About

My Background

Hi, I’m Jenny Meadow, an English teacher, writing tutor, and study skills coach. As a credentialed ESL/ELL teacher, I’ve helped students from all over the world learn English.

With master’s degrees from Columbia University and Mount Holyoke College and a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University, I also know what it takes to excel at high-level academic writing. Writing is both a science and an art. I will help you leverage your strengths and unique voice to write with clarity and impact.

Finally, as the former Director of Learning and Instruction for an established online tutoring organization, I’m an expert in executive functioning, i.e. the study skills and habits that help us succeed in school, work, and life. I integrate study skills into all of my teaching and tutoring. I also offer focused executive functioning (EF) coaching. EF coaching is beneficial for children and adults with ADHD, neurodiverse individuals, or anyone who needs a little help with organization and time management. The door is open. Let’s begin!
